Love Those Capris Jeans!

This site provides information about quality Capris Jeans products.

How We Got Here. Capris Jeans are all over the place, and that’s a good thing. The name Capris originated from the Italian isle of Capri. The pants and jeans were made popular in the late fifties and early sixties, you guessed it, on the island of Capri! I bet you didn’t know they were around that long! I thought it was merely a fad in the late 1990s and into the 21st Century.

According to wikipedia, you can blame the current fad on Laura from “The Dick Van Dyke Show”. That’s right, sweet Miss Laura. She caused a fashion phenomenon by wearing tight-fitting Capris pants during the show’s long run on television. And if my memory serves, she went sleeveless on the show too.

Today, women in the West are seen wearing these casual and cool articles of clothing in every setting you can imagine. In fact, you’d be hard pressed to find an informal setting where at least a few women are NOT wearing them. The jeans come in all sizes, colors, styles, and varieties. Each Capris Jeans has a personality of its own.

The Red and White striped with a blue midsection has its personality; the all black jeans has its own setting.

Casual. The jeans are cool, comfortable, and casual. They’re no-brainer clothing on those warm summer nights when you’re on the front porch chewing the fat and shooting the breeze. You have to wear pants anyhow, so why not Capris?
